Although Beijing is an international metropolitan with a wide spectrum of hotels from budget to extreme luxury, but if you want to stay within easy walking distance from IHEP where the meeting is, we suggest you to either stay in the Guest House of IHEP or the Holiday Inn nearby. These two hotels offer discount to IHEP visitors. If you want to stay in either of these two places, please indicate it in the registration form. We book some rooms for the meeting. We urge you to register early to make sure a room  is available in these two places.

The IHEP Guest House is inside IHEP campus. It is less than 200 meters from the Main Building where the meeting is held. Next to it, there is a restaurant where we shall have our working lunches. So the location is idea. The condition of the rooms is rather basic. In each room there are two single beds and a bathroom with shower. Hot water is available 24 hours a day. There is internet access via Ethernet  in the room. For the second occupant of the room, there is no extra charge. So it is a good idea  to bring your wife with you. The rate is 230 yuan (roughly 23 euros with current exchange rate) or 280 yuan (28 euros) for IHEP visitors. With the latter rate, the room is bigger, with a bathtub, a closet and a safe. Breakfast is not included. But the restaurant next to it is a popular place for breakfast in IHEP. The price is between half to one euro. Another advantage of the Guest House is that it is less than 500 meters from a subway station.

For those who want a hotel of higher standard, the 4 star Holiday Inn is 1.5 kilometers away from IHEP. It is along the main thoroughfare of Beijing just one block (a very long block) away from IHEP. There are several bus lines, with one stop in between. (but not subway, since Holiday Inn is near a intersection which is in the middle between two subway stations). Or you may walk for about 20 minutes. The room rate is 620 yuan (roughly 62 euros) for IHEP visitors. It includes complimentary breakfast for one. No extra change for the second occupant of the room, but the breakfast for the second person is 60 yuan (6 euros). With 840 yuan (84 euros) per day, you get a room on the executive floors. Besides a bigger and better appointed room, it includes complimentary breakfast for two, internet access and laundry service etc.
